A tortoise that will brighten your day! These are one of the easiest tortoises to keep successfully and are great for the beginner tortoise enthusiast. These little gems have been bred for color for over 20 years and are one of our signature species. They are far more colorful than the usual Suriname and Guayana subspecies that are all over the net. These guys retain their high red coloration and light colored shells well into adulthood. They have great personalities and often follow you around like a dog would. You can actually see the excitement in their eyes at feeding time! They are feeding on a wide variety of greens and fruits.
